At the LAUC Annual Spring Assembly on March 21, 2016, the Executive Board and divisional delegates voted to retire Position Paper 1 (Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Advancement in the Librarian Series) and Position Paper 3 (Documentation Guidelines for the Review of Librarians).
The purpose of the Statewide LAUC Journal Task Force is to propose recommendations to create a LAUC Journal or other Open Access options for LAUC members to disseminate their scholarly and creative work.
As of April 2016, the Executive Board declared their charge successfully completed and the task force disbanded.
The purpose of the Statewide LAUC Web Content Committee (WCC) is to promote engagement with and raise awareness of the LAUC website by developing policies and procedures for keeping the website content dynamic and up to date. Content must be of interest to LAUC members and relevant to the functioning of LAUC as an organization.
The LAUC Web Review Ad Hoc Committee report of February 6, 2014 provided the LAUC Executive Board with an assessment of the current site and recommendations for improving functionality and architecture to accommodate both old and new content.
