Mar 05, 2021
The LAUC R&PD Committee held an event on January 29, 2021, showcasing advice from past grant recipients. Thank you to our presenters and attendees who made the webinar a success! For those who could not attend, you can access the recording and other materials in Google Drive. Our speakers talked about how they got their ideas for research, what the research grant funded, and how the grant helped them complete their work. Hopefully by the time you watch the recording you will feel empowered to submit your own research grant proposal!
Our speakers were:
- Zoe Borovsky, Librarian for Digital Research and Scholarship, UCLA, DResSUP for Librarians (data training)
- Christy Caldwell, STEM Research Librarian, UCSC, GAMECIP Controlled Vocabulary Project
- David Michalski, Social and Cultural Studies Librarian, UC Davis, Constructing Creativity: An Anthropology of the International Center for Studies in Creativity
