Thanks to a $315,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, two UC Santa Barbara Library researchers will create comprehensive documentation and description, including streaming sound files, of Edison company activities between 1912 and 1929. David Seubert, director of the UCSB Library’s American Discography Project (ADP), and Samuel Brylawski will lead the project to digitally transcribe and editorially describe a large part of the celebrated American inventor’s Diamond Disc recordings.
