Derek Quezada began as Outreach & Public Services Librarian for Special Collections & Archives at UCI in October, 2016.
Quezada was previously at the Getty Research Institute, where he served as a reference librarian and digital project coordinator since 2011. He has a BA in Comparative Literature & Religious Studies with an emphasis in Critical Theory from UC Irvine, an MLIS with a specialization in Informatics from UCLA, and a Professional Certificate in Rare Books and Manuscripts from the California Rare Book School.
